MYOB and Resume Development Module

AAA Career Management recognises that everyone who enquires about our services does so in an attempt to gain knowledge and develop the right tools and skills to secure the right job. We also understand that not everyone is in an immediate position to undertake an open-ended partnership or comprehensive program with us due to time or financial constraints.

Acknowledging this, AAA Career Management offers this MYOB and Resume Development Module to assist job seekers in obtaining new skills and producing high quality “selling documents”.

Our objective is to work closely with you to develop a vastly improved resume and job search related correspondence that will assist you in properly marketing yourself.

The MYOB accounting training is carried out by a CPA and an associate of AAA Career Management.

Two modules of this program are available:

Module One

This 3 hour module includes MYOB basics including Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable.

Module Two

This is about a 5 hour module which covers the MYOB basic along with preparing final accounts, FBT, BAS, Budget, Cashflow, Tax return and Payroll.

Via correspondence, the CPA will set you realistic work to complete.

To facilitate the development of your resume, you will first be required to complete a comprehensive Career Achievements document. You should plan on up to 6 or more hours of preparation time to complete this. Our emphasis will be primarily on identifying your career successes over the most recent 10 years.

Once you have completed the achievements document on your PC, you will need to email it back to your servicing consultant. From there we will prepare a draft resume for you within 5 working days. If you complete assigned MYOB work successfully, this work may be presented on your resume as having held an Assistant Accountant (Contract) position, an Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (Contract) position, a Administration & Payroll (Contract) position or similar for an actual company. You will appreciate that this overcomes the comment “but you have had no local experience”

Once this step is completed your servicing consultant will work 1:1 with you to develop and refine the content of your resume. We will complete the document with you to our mutual satisfaction.

The fee for this Resume and Marketing Portfolio Development module is $850, plus GST. This can be credited towards our Market Readiness Program (difference of $1815 including GST) if you determine additional assistance is required during the following 6 months or for the Managers and Professionals Partnership program if it is more appropriate (difference of $3025 including GST).
